The Signal Gets Stronger Together

In 2017, a company called Eero pioneered something called mesh Wi-Fi networking for ordinary households. The concept was simple but revolutionary. Instead of relying on a single router struggling to push signal into every corner of a home, you place multiple small nodes throughout the house. Each node communicates with the others, and together they blanket every room with a strong, reliable connection.

Here is what makes mesh networking remarkable: no single node can cover the whole house alone. One unit tucked in the living room cannot reach the upstairs bedroom. But when that node connects to another on the landing, which connects to another down the hall, suddenly every dead zone disappears. Each node extends the reach of every other node. The network does not just add coverage — it multiplies it.

The Apostle Paul understood this principle two thousand years before Wi-Fi existed. "The eye cannot say to the hand, 'I don't need you!' And the head cannot say to the feet, 'I don't need you!'" (1 Corinthians 12:21). The Body of Christ was designed as a mesh network. Your faith strengthens mine. My gifts extend yours. A widow's quiet prayer covers a young father who does not yet know how to pray for himself.

The lone Christian, like the lone router, will always have dead zones — blind spots where the signal of God's grace struggles to reach. But when we stay connected to one another, every corner of our lives gets covered.
