The Son Is the Point - Christocentric (John 3:16)
Karl Barth, arguably the 20th century's greatest theologian, was once asked to summarize his massive Church Dogmatics—thousands of pages of dense theology. He paused, then replied: "Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so." The scholars laughed; Barth was serious. John 3:16 puts the Son at the center: God's love is expressed IN the Son, received THROUGH the Son, known BY the Son. Strip away the Son, and you have philosophy, not gospel. Every doctrine, every practice, every hope centers on this: God gave His only Son. Jesus isn't one topic among many; He is the point.
