We Will Go With You: The Resolution of Faith

Fourth, it manifests holy ambition—we hunger to learn from and imitate the saints. Congenial sentiment becomes the foundation of religious union; where it subsists, closer assimilation naturally follows. Fifth, it secures Gospel communion. An ancient church father deemed membership in Christ's body greater honor than headship of Rome itself.

The ground of this resolution stands immovable: "God is with you." Such testimony circulates through Divine Word, wherein blessing is promised and declared. It flows from believers' own acknowledgment of Adonai's protection and consolation through His manifest presence. When the world observes God's vindication of His people, resistance crumbles. The nations themselves hunger to join those whom Elohim sustains.
