When Faith - Contemporary Example

Some months ago, I met a young woman named Sarah at a community event. She wore a bright smile, but as we spoke, I noticed a shadow in her eyes. Sarah had recently graduated college and was facing a crossroads. She had dreams of teaching, but like many young adults, she struggled with uncertainty about her future.

As we chatted, she shared how deeply her faith had been a source of strength in her life. Yet, in this season of waiting and searching, she felt lost. I recalled Joshua 1:9, where God commands Joshua to be strong and courageous, reminding him that He is with him wherever he goes. I encouraged Sarah to cling to that promise, to trust that God was guiding her even when the path seemed unclear.
