You Are the Signal

When you open Waze on your morning commute, you are doing more than getting directions. Every phone running that app becomes a living sensor in a vast network. Your speed tells other drivers about traffic congestion ahead. Your route reveals road closures before they hit the news. Your quiet detour down a side street suggests a shortcut thousands of strangers will follow that afternoon. You might think you are just driving to work, but your journey is actively serving people you will never meet.

This is how the Almighty designs purpose. You may feel like your life is just a commute — getting from Monday to Friday, from one hard season to the next. But God has woven you into a network far larger than your windshield view. Every conversation with a struggling coworker, every act of kindness at the grocery store, every faithful day at a job that feels invisible — it all matters. It is all shaping paths for people whose names you may never learn.

Paul reminded the Corinthians, "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it" (1 Corinthians 12:27). You are not a passive passenger on the road of life. You are an active signal in God's redemptive work.

Your purpose may not always be visible to you. But it is always visible to Him.
