Dear Heavenly Father,

As I sit in quiet reflection today, I can’t help but think about the turbulence of our political landscape—an arena often marked by division and discord. It brings to mind the wisdom found in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, which encourages us to “encourage one another and build each other up.” This is no small task, especially when voices around us seem to shout louder than the whispers of love and understanding.

Imagine a community divided, like shards of glass scattered across a room, each fragment reflecting its own light but failing to form a coherent picture. In such a space, we can feel lost, disheartened by the sharp edges of disagreement and conflict. Yet, God invites us to be the glue that holds these shards together, to bring warmth where there is coldness, and hope where there is despair.

Picture yourself as a beacon in the darkness—your heart a lighthouse guiding weary souls to a safe shore. Let your words be dripping with agape, unconditional love that breaks down barriers, even when the world around you prefers to build walls.
