Devotional: Spirituality
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I pause to reflect on the gift of spirituality in my life today, I am drawn to the great commission in Matthew 28:19-20, where you command us to go out and make disciples of all nations. What a powerful call that is! In this moment, I ask you to open my eyes to see spirituality not just as a personal journey, but as an invitation to participate in your grand design.
Help me to embody the love and grace that you so freely bestow upon me. Picture with me a darkened room, where our world often feels heavy with despair. I want my spirit to shine like a flickering candle amidst that darkness, illuminating hope and healing in the lives of those around me. When I show kindness to a weary stranger or extend a listening ear to a friend in turmoil, let those actions draw them closer to you, revealing your character through my humble efforts.
In this season of my life, I commit to being intentional about how I engage with spirituality. It’s a calling not just to grow inwardly, but to transform outwardly, to be a conduit of your love in a world so desperate for connection. As I move through my day, may I remember that every small act is a chance to reflect your light.
