Lessons from Salvation - Story
There was once a young boy named Samuel who loved to plant seeds in his grandmother’s garden. Each spring, he would carefully select the seeds, gently pressing them into the rich, dark soil. His grandmother would smile as she watched him, knowing that each seed held the potential for beautiful blooms.
One day, Samuel planted a row of sunflower seeds, his favorite. He watered them daily, whispering to them as he waited for them to sprout. However, as days turned into weeks, doubt began to creep into his heart. “What if they never grow?” he pondered, feeling frustrated and anxious. Yet, his grandmother assured him, “Trust the process, Samuel. Each seed has its own time to grow.”
Then, one morning, Samuel dashed outside, heart racing with hope. He knelt before the soil, and to his utter amazement, tiny green shoots had broken through the surface! Over the next few weeks, those shoots transformed into towering sunflowers, their golden faces turning toward the sun. Samuel's joy was boundless, for he had learned that in his waiting, something miraculous was happening beneath the earth.
In John 14:6, Jesus tells us, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Just as Samuel placed his trust in the seeds, we too are invited to trust in Christ. Each moment we spend in faith, even when growth feels slow or uncertain, is a testament to our spiritual journey. Our trust in Him nurtures the seeds of faith within us, reminding us that salvation leads to abundant life, flourishing with purpose and joy.
