Morning Meditation: Glory
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I rise this morning, my heart swells with gratitude for the gift of your glory—the radiant light that pierces through our darkest moments. Reflecting on 1 Peter 2:9, I am reminded that I am called to be a living testament of your grace. You have chosen me, not because of my perfection, but in spite of my flaws. You’ve pulled me from the shadows into your marvelous light, and now I am tasked with reflecting that light to the world.
Today, I pray for the wisdom to view each challenge as an invitation to shine. Perhaps it’s in the weary eyes of the cashier who scans my groceries, or the neighbor weighed down by burdens I cannot see. Help me to see these moments not as interruptions, but divine appointments. Let my smile be a beacon and my words an encouragement, so that others may catch a glimpse of your hesed, your unfailing love.
Guide my hands to serve with joy and my heart to love with abandon, as I weave the threads of kindness into the fabric of my community. Let my actions echo your character, drawing others closer to your heart. In doing so, may the glory I reflect not just brighten my own path, but illuminate the way for those still walking in darkness.
