Morning Meditation: Glory - Story

As we gather this morning in the presence of our Heavenly Father, I invite you to reflect with me on a transformative promise from 2 Corinthians 5:17, which states, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” Imagine for a moment the last time you witnessed something truly glorious—a sunrise that painted the sky with hues of orange and pink, or perhaps the laughter of a child discovering a butterfly for the first time. These moments awaken us to the beauty of new beginnings.

Now, think about a part of your life where you need to see that glory, where the old feels burdensome and heavy. Maybe it’s a strained relationship, a job that feels like a dead end, or a struggle with loneliness. In those dark corners of our lives, God invites us to bring His light. He calls us to respond with love, even when it feels challenging.

Picture someone walking through a dimly-lit room. With each step forward, they carry a flickering candle, illuminating the space around them. That’s what it means to be a light in darkness.
