Prayerful Children

Dear Heavenly Father,

As I pause today, the laughter of children echoes in my heart, a joyful reminder of your wisdom in 1 John 4:19: "We love because he first loved us." Each child's smile, each innocent question, is a glimpse into the divine love that you generously pour out upon us. Help me, Lord, to see these precious lives through your loving gaze.

Imagine a small child, perhaps in a crowded park, their face lighting up as they spot a butterfly flitting through the air. With wide eyes, they chase it, radiating pure wonder and delight. In that moment, they remind us of our need for hope and the beauty in simply being alive. May I be like that child—chasing the wonder of your love and sharing it with those around me.

Guide my feet to walk in places where I can be a beacon of your grace, whether it’s offering kindness to a child at a local school, volunteering at a children's shelter, or simply stopping to listen to their stories. Let my actions reflect your character, illuminating the darkness that sometimes clouds their young lives.
