Quiet Time: Climate Change & Stewardship - Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I come before You today, I am struck by the urgency and importance of our role in caring for Your creation. In Romans 12:2, You call us not to conform to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Lord, help me to see the beauty of the earth through Your eyes—a world brimming with life, from the towering trees that whisper Your majesty to the delicate flowers that proclaim Your creativity.
In a time where climate change looms large and stewardship often feels overwhelming, I ask for Your wisdom to guide my actions. Show me how I can be a beacon of hope in this darkening landscape. Perhaps it begins with small, intentional steps—like choosing to walk instead of drive, or sharing a meal with my neighbors made from locally sourced ingredients. These simple acts may ripple outward, inspiring others to join in the fight for our planet.
May my heart be filled with agape—the selfless love that mirrors Your grace. When I encounter challenges in this journey, remind me of the call to serve others. Help me to engage with my community, not out of obligation, but out of a deep love for Your creation and for those who suffer the consequences of our environmental neglect.
