Maria had always been a fiery spirit, quick to speak her mind and defend her convictions. But after a difficult season in her life, full of loss and heartache, she found herself struggling to maintain that same fervor. One evening, after a long day at work, Maria sat alone in a small café, the dim lights flickering softly above her. She absentmindedly stirred her coffee, a wave of sadness washing over her.

As she glanced up, she noticed an elderly man sitting across the room. He was patiently helping a young girl, perhaps his granddaughter, with her math homework. She realized that Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), embodied this gentle strength. Just as that man patiently guided his granddaughter, Jesus invites us on our journeys of transformation, reminding us that growth often comes through the gentlest of hands.
