The Good Shepherd

A shepherd knows each of his sheep by name. He leads them to green pastures and still waters. When one sheep goes astray, he leaves the ninety-nine to find the one that is lost. The shepherd cares for the weak, heals the sick, and protects the flock from wolves. Jesus calls himself our Good Shepherd who laid down his life for his sheep.
