On a warm summer evening, I sat on my porch, sipping sweet tea and watching the neighborhood children play. There was one little girl, maybe eight years old, named Mia, who had a spirit that could light up even the darkest days. You see, Mia had faced more in her short life than most of us could ever imagine. Her family had struggled with poverty, and there were nights when food was scarce.
