The Signal That Never Stops

There are thirty-one GPS satellites circling the Earth right now, each one orbiting roughly 12,500 miles above us. Here is what most people never consider: those satellites are not waiting for you to ask for directions. They broadcast their signal continuously, every single second, to every square inch of the planet. They transmit over oceans where no one is listening. They send their signal over deserts, over war zones, over the rooftop where a teenager sits alone wondering if anyone knows she exists.

The satellite does not judge your wrong turns. It does not go silent when you ignore it for six months. It does not broadcast more enthusiastically to people who drive well. It simply sends, and sends, and sends. And the moment you turn on your receiver — the very instant you look up and reach out — the signal is already there. It was always there.

The Apostle Paul wrote that nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord — not height, not depth, not anything in all creation. That love is not activated by our worthiness. It is not earned by our obedience. Like those satellites circling silently above us, the love of the Almighty is perpetually broadcast toward every human heart, in every condition, at every moment.

You cannot wander far enough to lose the signal. You only need to turn on the receiver. His love is already reaching for you. It never stopped.
