The Sound That Listens

In 1978, Dr. Amar Bose sat on a transatlantic flight and couldn't hear his music over the roar of the engines. Rather than accept the noise, he began sketching equations. What emerged from that frustration was active noise-canceling technology — now found in millions of headphones worldwide.

The world is loud. Grief roars. Anxiety hums at frequencies we can barely name. And God doesn't love us by removing us from the noise or pretending it doesn't exist. He draws close. He listens. Then He meets our pain with a grace so precisely fitted to our need that the chaos begins to quiet.

"Peace I leave with you," Jesus told His disciples. "Not as the world gives do I give to you" (John 14:27).

The world tries to overpower noise with louder noise. But the love of Christ listens first, then speaks the exact word our souls need to hear. Whatever is roaring in your life today, know this: you are not unheard. His love is already answering.
