Twister: Anchored in the Storm (Matthew 7:24-27)

In Twister, storm chasers learn that the tornadoes destroy everything poorly anchored. Mobile homes explode; rooted farmhouses sometimes survive. At the climax, Jo and Bill strap themselves to pipes driven deep into the earth—and the F5 passes over them. "Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." Anchoring matters. In the storm's eye, what you're attached to determines survival. Fair-weather faith, like mobile homes, scatters when winds come. Only roots survive the F5.
