When Courage - Story

There was a young woman in our community named Mary. Now, Mary wasn’t just any ordinary girl; she had dreams that soared high above the rooftops of our neighborhood. But life, as it often does, threw her some heavy challenges. Abandoned by her father and raised by a single mother who worked two jobs to make ends meet, Mary carried a weight that felt almost too much to bear.

One day, while walking home from school, she saw a group of children gathered around an older woman named Miss Clara. Now, Miss Clara had a reputation in our community. She was known for her courage and her fierce love for everyone. That day, she was telling stories of her life during the civil rights movement, how she faced down fear with faith that God would provide a way. Mary couldn’t help but lean in closer; she felt something stir inside her—a desire for transformation, a longing to live out her own purpose.

Mary began volunteering with Miss Clara. With every moment spent in that community, she found courage and love blossoming within her. She learned that faith is not just about believing; it’s about acting on that belief.
