When Kindness - Story

In a small town, there lived a young woman named Sarah who had always felt a tug in her heart to reach out to those in need. One chilly evening, she was walking home when she noticed an elderly man sitting alone on a bench, his head bowed as if weighed down by the world. Something compelled her to stop.

“Are you alright?” she asked, her breath a mist in the cold air. The man looked up, his eyes reflecting a lifetime of burdens. “Just waiting for my daughter. She promised to visit, but I fear she won’t come.”

In that moment, Sarah felt a gentle nudge from God, a whisper to act. She sat beside him and shared her own story of struggle and longing. As they talked, the man’s demeanor shifted; he began to share memories of better days and the love he had for his daughter. Sarah listened intently, offering the gift of her presence.
