When Redemption - Story

Elizabeth sat quietly in the back of the church, her fingers nervously tracing the edges of her well-worn Bible. To others, she may have seemed like just another face in the congregation, but her journey had been anything but ordinary. Years of heartache had weighed heavily on her spirit. A difficult divorce had left her feeling like a shell of herself, separated from the vibrant woman she once was. The love she sought—deep, lasting love—felt forever out of reach.

But one Sunday, something shifted. As the congregation sang “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us,” Elizabeth felt a warmth envelop her, almost like a gentle embrace. Matthew 28:19-20 calls us to go and make disciples, to share this love and grace we have received. Elizabeth’s transformation became her mission—she started leading a weekly Bible study for women who felt lost, just as she had.
