When Wisdom - Story

There was a young man named Marcus, raised in a loving family but burdened by doubt. He had dreams, aspirations to become a doctor, but the path was steep and uncertain. There were moments in class when the material felt like a mountain too high to climb. He often found himself sitting in the back, wrestling with questions that echoed in his heart: “Am I capable? Is this really the direction for me?”

One evening, after yet another challenging day, Marcus went for a walk near his grandmother's house. As he strolled, he noticed her sitting on the porch, a Bible open on her lap. Intrigued, he approached her, and without asking, she began to read from John 14:6 — “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Her voice was rich with warmth, wrapping around him like a comforting embrace.

She looked up and said, “Baby, the world will throw confusion your way. But remember, Jesus is your compass. When you don’t know which way to turn, trust Him to guide you.” That night, Marcus felt the weight of his doubt begin to lift. He realized that faith wasn’t just about seeing the path clearly; it was about taking the first step forward, even if the next step was shrouded in uncertainty.
