When the Human Genome Project completed its work in 2003, scientists confirmed something remarkable: every human being on earth shares 99.9 percent of their DNA. The entire spectrum of human diversity — every face you have ever loved, every voice you have ever recognized — emerges from a mere 0.1 percent variation. About three million base pairs, out of three billion, account for everything that makes you uniquely you.

Think about that. The same God who spoke galaxies into orbit wrote three billion letters of genetic code into every cell of your body, and then fine-tuned three million of them so that there would never be another you. Not in all of history. Not in all of eternity.

We live in a world that constantly tries to tell us who we are. Social media offers us a curated identity. Career success offers us a functional identity. Even failure tries to hand us a name. But long before any of those voices spoke, the Almighty was already writing. Psalm 139 says, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made." That is not poetry. That is biology. That is three billion base pairs of intentionality.

You are not an accident of nature. You are not a copy of someone else. El Roi — the God Who Sees — designed you down to the molecule and called you by name before you drew your first breath.

Your identity was never yours to invent. It was always His to reveal.
